American Graphophone type N on eBay

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... 1612983241 It's in nice shape and it has the gutta percha reproducer that appears to be undamaged. :) (I've always wanted a type N :mrgreen: )
EDIT: the reproducer is not original it appears to be a #2 reproducer painted black because the letters aren't backwards like an original gutta percha.

The reproducer isn't original, a fact which the seller mentions in the listing. It's a nice machine, albeit a bit worn, but the price is optimistic.

My friend Arthur Pare had an N Graphophone.He bought in 1956,and it came with a case of brown cylinders.The Columbias announced"Made for the Columbia Phonograph Company of Washington,DC.Arthur got the machine and records for the amazing price of $3!Those were the days!! :D edisonplayer

Well shoot! If only I was a teenager in 1956 and not 2015! I have a feeling I'd own a lot more machines than I do now. (7 but once 10 in my collection)
