Q reproducer at Union?

Will Ibe able to find an original Q reproducer at the Union, NJ show or should I just buy a reproduction on eBay?

There are 2 types of reproducers for a Columbia Q. For the early brushed steel and nickel one, you need the small one. For the later one with the enameled bed plate, you need the larger one.

Just a heads up there is no Union, NJ phonograph show. You are talking about the Union, Illinois phonograph show that happens in June. The phonograph show in NJ is in Wayne, NJ and it happens in April.

I have a Busy Bee without a reproducer. Which Q type reproducer is appropriate for that machine?

Tod,
It uses the larger reproducer. You can find on at the shows or ebay. Maybe one of the Forum members might have one.

I am also looking for the early style Q reproducer, I missed one around Christmas and it was only around $ 80.00.
You never know, you may find one at a reasonable price. I am settling for a later style original reproducer for my other Q, it as 125.00. Anymore than that, I was going to go with a reproduction on ebay. Those look like nice reproducers for $99.95. Anymore, some people are asking in excess of $175-250.00 for a early floating reproducer. I see it as a lot for a machine that is only worth $ 350.00 maybe $500.00 tops.
