Anybody have any books on needle tins/collectibles?

I've never been much of a needle tin and collectibles collector, but know that some folks are really into it. I just can't recall for sure, but there's a vague memory of at least one book on the topic. Do any of you have such a thing? I have a needle-related item I would like to get more info about, and want to see if it's documented anywhere.

Peter, The late Ruth Lambert (the Queen of needle tins) in the UK wrote a great book. There is also a book from Europe out.
Maybe if you post pics of your item a member can identify it for you. There are a few members on here that collect such things....like me... ;)

The best book on the subject (in my opinion) is a German book that has photos of thousands of tins, with relative values: "Grammophon-Nadeldosen / Gramophone Needle Tins: Geschichte und Katalog mit aktuellen Bewertungen / History and Catalogue with current Valuations" (Hardcover)

Oh, all right.

It's a dealer sample book for Tatjana needles. Made in Europe but found in the US, and with a label in English.

Is it in your book?

Peter, there are some similar sample books and cards with needles pictured in the book, but I don't think that I have seen yours. I have one that is similar, but without the paper envelopes - just different styles of needles stitched into a book. I'll look in the book and I will try to post a pic of my sample book. I believe that these books are relatively scarce...

I have this book as well, I believe it may be the only book on the subject. It's very helpful in determining relative values, and fun to discover needle tins you haven't seen before.

What does the book say about this item, or items like it, please?

Curt, or HMV, can you please look it up in the book you own, and share what is there? Thanks.
