I got this machine in a small collection and I have no use for it, so you're getting it as I found it. It runs, it plays and it's pretty clean. I believe this is an Oxford or Lakeside version as there's no evidence of this ever having a decal and the collection this came from had nothing but original finish machines. There's a small area of loose veneer on the lid and it could use some cleaning and likely some oil and minor adjustments, but 2/4 minute versions of these aren't easy to find. The motor has at some point had a new belt and it runs smooth and strong and pretty quietly. The horn looks original, but the gold lines may have been added. Columbia machines aren't at all my thing so please ask questions. I didn't even know this was a 2/4 minute combo until a visitor told me

The reproducer seems to have had the stylus replaced with a 4 minute only stylus which was also pointed out to me. I'm sure if the buyer wished, Steve Medved could sort something else out.

Anyway, I'd like to get $1000 for this delivered to Wayne for FREE or pickup is welcome near Albany NY. I'd prefer not to ship, but if I have to, I will. Please look carefully at the photos and ask questions. I've based my asking price on other examples I've seen sold recently, one for much more and it was two minute only.

Nice machine... fair price. If I didn't have one, I would definitely consider it... very hard to find 2/4 minute versions.

Thank you. If I didn't have my BET that came with the same group as this one, I'd keep this one, but I just can't justify keeping this one right now.

Now $900.

I did notice yesterday while examining the machine more closely that it is missing the crank escutcheon.

now $800. This is the last time I will bump this and reduce the price. If this doesn't sell, I will just keep it.

$800 is a very good price. These are by no means common and display very well.

OK folks, bumping once. I'll be at Wayne Saturday and Sunday since I missed the April show and I'll be glad to bring this if there is interest. This poor machine has been languishing in my storage ever since I posted it here and it needs a new home!

This is a great deal on a 2/4 min. Columbia. It has all the hard to find parts like the 45 degree elbow, and connector. These are usually missing and tough to find. The escutcheon is a fairly common part. The real icing on the cake is the reproducer has that special 2/4 min stylus. If I didn't have this model, I would be all over it, too.
