Not my listing but looks to be a great buy... I'm just a VTMC guy otherwise it would be gone.

Re: Columbia 800 near Tampa
H. Royer Smith was a big record store in Philadelphia, on Walnut St. about four blocks from Independence Hall. I purchased a lot of records from them for the music department back in my teaching days. I was only in Smith's once or twice, and my recollections of it are dim, but they had a lot of records! They went out of business sometime in the '80s, I'm guessing. Then I started ordering from Darton Records in NYC, in the rear of Patelson's on 56th St. When I was in high school, I used to buy all of my method and etude books and scores at Patelson's, which was "The" go-to place for printed music in the City for many years; Darton had its retail operation in the back of the store (upstairs? can't remember). Most of my record ordering was over the phone in those days.
All of it gone, gone, gone.
All of it gone, gone, gone.
