Saw this tonight, looks like a nice cabinet. Question though, it's missing the radio, does anybody know what model radiola it takes? Also, the ad in the Brunswick book by R.J. Wakeman says it should take the 2 headed ultona reproducer, so the entire tone arm would have to be replaced to make it correct, right?

This cabinet was sold with the Ultona and a Radiola AR-813 Superhetrodyne chassis. It was later offered with the modified horn and the "Panatrope-Exponential type" equipment and a Radiola 25 panel. The cabinet has also been seen with P-3 electronic Panatrope gear ( the four tube "104" amplifier and electrodynamic speaker.). Sales literature indicates that it was at least considered that the machine be offered with P-2 equipment (the three tube "102" amplifier and magnetic speaker).

I have a spare Radiola 25 panel for this set, and believe that I also have one or two AR-813 units put back somewhere.

The door on the side that the seller doesn't understand actually contains the radio antenna. Swinging the door open allowed you to effectively rotate the antenna for best reception. This exact same sort of door was used on the Radiola AR-813 superheterodyne radio, so I expect the radio was an AR-813.

It must not have been fitted with a radio when it was new or it would say "Brunswick Panatrope with Radiola" on the decal wouldn't it? All of the one's I've seen that had a radio in them were labeled that way. Brunswick sure made a lot of different cabinets that's for sure. They must have confused themselves at times.
