Hello
How do Columbia banner decals on their cylinder phonographs relate to the years in which the machines were made? In other words in what year did the city designations? Some say Washington D.C. (the oldest ones), some say New York, and some say New York and Paris. Thanks!

You have listed the cities in the chronological order in which they appeared on the decals. London appeared eventually as well.
I'm considering doing an article on this for
The Antique Phonograph showing as many variations as I can (there are many) and citing the dates when each respective office was opened.

George, You also might want to write about the Disc Graphophone decals, too.
