More Spring cleaning and more discoveries.

Here is a very short-lived 1907 Marconi Velvet Tone record from my collection. These innovative records were way, way ahead of their time and were made of a lightweight fiber material that Columbia and Marconi thought would be the cat's meow and would sell like hotcakes...but they were a disaster.

The records required special expensive needles :o and the records were found to wear out quickly. So the records were rather quickly and surreptitiously dropped like a hot potato!

So, the records today are very hard to find indeed. This one is in good condition but I would recommend playing only with a modern lightweight tonearm!

I've no idea what to ask for this so if you're interested please send me a PM and if it feels right to both of us it's yours! Payment by PayPal, check, USPS Money Order are great! Even cash works! 8-)

Media Mail is extra but pretty inexpensive and if the offer is attractive enough shipping is on me! :D I package very securely so no worries.

Thanks!
Doug
