Not to nit pick on words. However, there is nothing rubberized about this paper mache lacquered horn. Therefore, no rubber trees were hurt during the making of this horn... .

You are right but somewhere I have an advert for the Vic 6 describing the horn as "having the appearance of polished rubber". Also in the 2005 edition of Baumbach's Look for the Dog, page 65, he quotes a description of the horn as "having the appearance of polished, hard rubber."

I'm relieved that no rubber trees were harmed, probably just a lacquer tree or two.

Spectacular Machine! I envy those going to Union to see it in person and to the lucky person who eventually takes it home.
