Search talking Book on the FORUM

Hi, I would like to know search techniques for this Forum. I have read the "instructions" when the user selects SEARCH. But it is very limited in its scope. Can anybody advise on how to effectively search the following example:

Talking book record

I know putting quotes around a phrase when using a primitive search engine would cause the engine to search the characters within the quotes as written, but my experience here is this search find each individual word. All - talking, all - book, all - records which is useless really.

Can anyone list a method for more consise searching in TMF? Thanks John

Can't answer you question, but you have me wondering---Talking Book Records. Do you have any and do you sell and/or trade? I am looking for---- The Battle of the Marne and Santa and the Hollikids. Have just about all the others for use if you needed one for a trade. Thanks

If the forum search function is too limiting alternately Google can be used to search just the forum. Type your search in Google using this format:

search terms site:forum.talkingmachine.info

For instance searching for "VV 4-3" using the forum search yields no results so I used Google:
vv 4-3 site:forum.talkingmachine.info

John, in your case searching for "talking book" rather than "talking book record" does yield more pertinent results.
