My Victrola IX has a badly bent spindle, the end that the center hole of the record fits over. I'm looking for a good replacement shaft. TNX, Russie Ofria

It might be easier to send a picture of the motor or measurements. There were so many motors used in the IX you might get a mismatch otherwise. I have a couple of motors that were in IX's. Also when you remove it from your motor, don't lose the ball bearing in the bottom.

Russie, If it's the typical VV-IX with two springs in one barrel, I'm sure I have one. Jerry Blais

That's the spindle needed for a later Victor III and Victor IV. You obviously have an early Victrola IX.

I have a motor that is very close. My brake rod is installed differently, but otherwise it looks like the same motor. Anyone out there know for sure? If you want it PM me with an address. Do you need the big screw etc and gear, or just the shaft?
