The earliest crank for the Type C is a slip-on type, and apparently featured a straight throw. Note the hole in the throw at the shoulder. My Type C is early, so I'd LOVE to find this one:
The second style is also a slip-on, but with angles in the throw and a long, slender wooden handle painted black. It still has a hole at the shoulder. I'd be very happy with this one too:
This second style evolved into the type used with the BC, which has a very angular throw and is a screw-in crank. However, the slender, black handle was retained, so I thought I'd show it. All these cranks are rather large.
If anyone has one of the cranks pictured in the catalogs above and they don't need it, I'd be very happy and grateful to hear from you.
