C-19 Going Cheap in Nashville

Anybody near Nashville want a C-19 that might go really cheap? It is being offered on SHOPGOODWILL.COM

Hmmm. Serial plate says it's a C-19, Laboratory badge refers to the "250 model is the Official Laboratory Model"...
Might be a good candidate for Fran's database...

It appears that the medallion likely has been replaced with an (this) earlier one (or the entire wood-trim piece). My data indicates that this type of medallion disappears at some point before #83461. That being said, the dataplate (and serial number) is consistent with the other features that the machine exhibits.
Wish I were in the vicinity, I'd be on my way there right now!

Cliff, thanks for posting this! If you don't mind me asking, do you know if there is a way to search goodwill nationally, or can only a localized search be performed? I use "SearchTempest.com" for national CL listings, but haven't thought of other possible venues.

I live about half an hour from Nashville so I think I am going to try to get this.
I already have a C-19 in oak but this would be a great machine to restore and sell at my flea market booth.

Apparently you're supposed to bid on it but if it's at a GoodWill store why would they put it online so people can bid on it? It has the seller's contact info so I tried to call but they aren't open today so I had to leave a message. At least this tells me it's legit. The bidding ends tonight so I guess I'll go ahead and put a bid in. I'll probably 'snipe it' which is putting in a really high bid just seconds before it ends.

I've purchased items from Goodwill outlets all over the country, including a local one, where I went and picked up a 1911 Columbia Mignonette (has doors instead of louvers for volume control) for $57 after winning bid.
