WANTED: Record compartment cloth for 9-54

Does anyone know of a source for the cloth used in the played record compartment? Is it true that model A Fords used the same material?

I couldn't say if it is the same material as used in the Model A, but if so, I would expect it to be the wool "mouse-fuzz" used for door panels and headlinings. Ford used several colors, but it was a plain, "napped" wool cloth.
