Mandrel problem Columbia Q

I have noticed alot of records do not fit well on the Columbia Q mandrel, I am wondering if this is common? Does the mandrel swell up on these machines?

The mandrel does not swell up but the records do shrink. Are you playing Columbia Indestructible or wax?
