The original "Frankenphone" horn

I was going through my boxes of parts and came across this horn that I got years ago. It came with a pile of parts and incomplete machines. Someone butchered up a otherwise nice witches hat horn and ended up with this. Why??? Maybe it was some mid-evil science project. I couldn't pitch it out.

Maybe it's a sorting horn.

Good one, Howard! The "sorting hat" came to mind; I just couldn't come-up with a clever post...
( I wonder if it likes Vernon Dalhart...

)

Funny!

It looks indeed!
I'm not surprised at all that it sounds good, as it actually approximates an exponential horn shape better that an "untouched" conical horn does.
