First Recording - Fisher's Hornpipe

Well, here it is - the first song that I have (kinda) successfully recorded to cylinder. I recorded it onto a gold moulded record that had been chemically shaved, but still had a few small pits (and was apparently out of round a little). It is super far from perfect, but it is a start. (I wasn't real careful about the transcription, so you can hear me sniffing and my dog and the door and stuff) Somehow, there is a skip in the record?? Anyhow, let me know how you think I can improve. The song is Fisher's Hornpipe, taken from a tutorial video by Ian Walsh.

No, I'm not playing it. I stole it from youtube and recorded it :P I wish I could play violin though, but my left hand is as useful as a fish on a bicycle.

Not bad! :)

One of my attempts at recording music was Rickett's Hornpipe on the concertina: didn't come out too well, though...
