Opinions needed

I just got my Victor VV1-2 Aladdin from Brandon - big big thanks!! Even my better half loves this one  Now I need some opinions from you guys and gals on preserving this wonderful child's phonograph. As you know the painted finish and the wonderful colorful decals will slowly continue to flake off (I hope not) even with a simple feather dusting. Can this finish be spray coated with a "good quality" clear sealer such as "DEFT" crystal-clear lacquer finish semi-gloss or matte finish ?? I am just looking for a way to more-or-less "seal in" the original paint and decals and to prevent any further deterioration. This example I bought from Brandon is 10X better than anyone I have come across at the Wayne, New Jersey talking machine show. It's just BEAUTIFUL - so any opinions about doing this ??

It's as nice as it is because nobody messed with it. I would suggest continuing with that plan. Don't let it get too damp or too dry and tread lightly on it.

It's all original, keep it that way.

Another thing to consider, a clear coat of whatever can damage the original paint and decals. Like what the others said, leave it alone.
