Question About Diamond Disc Reproducers

I'm trying to pin down a date when Edison introduced the single piece weight with the stylus bar mounting as part of the weight molding and stopped making the weight with the screw on stylus mounting plate for the diamond disc reproducer. Seems like it was fairly early, 1914 or so..??
Thanks! Cliff

I believe the 4-screw plate was phased out during mid-1915. The B-250s usually have them, but the C-250s don't.

I think it's pretty well covered in Frow's invaluable Edison Disc Machine book, but I'm not at home to check. From memory, I think George has it right.
