Vic III Question

I was asked to make an offer on this VIC III. What would be a fair price to offer him for it? It is all original.

I'd personally offer $1000, as the horn isn't very interesting. That's just my $0.02 :D

has that case been refinished? it looks light in color.

More pictures would help a lot. Maybe it is a bad picture but the horn elbow doesn't look nickel plated. It has a different color from the tone arm.

The brake is kinda' rusty looking and I don't believe that the turntable felt is original. The Horn however, has a stunning bell
and turns out a rich full tone with a No. 2 Reproducer as mine does. I say $1150.00 is fair.

Thanks to everyone for thier input, it was much appreciated. Being mostly an Edison collector I'm not up on Victor prices that much. My offer was accepted and I will be picking it up after I get back from the Union show.
