Does anyone know what model this cute little Columbia oak disc machine is by any chance ?

Could be a Grafonola Meteor or Eclipse, or a little later the 15. Exact dimensions and motor description might allow to narrow it down further.

I think it would be an Eclipse ?

Meteor just had fixed slots instead of Tone-Leaves ? ( Baumbach book not handy at moment ).

Whatever model it is, it looks awesome!!

Looking at Baumbach's book both the Meteor and the Eclipse had movable Tone-leaves. The Meteor seems to have a slightly plainer case and the 15 as well. Always difficult to say with the black and white drawings. The Meteor is listed as 13" width and 14" depth, the Eclipse and the later 25 with 15 ½" square and the 15 with 13 ⅛" square. From the book it looks like bth the eclipse and the 25 have a bit fancier moldings, but it's really hard to say. Only the Meteor seems to have had a one spring motor.

My Eclipse has a used needle holder cup on the front, on the opposite corner from the speed control/start-stop, and two new needle cups in the back, one on each side, that I don't see here. And the Meteor illustration in the book doesn't show the four screws on the front, 2 on each side of the louvers, that yours has and the Eclipse has. It looks like your example is a model 25 from 1915, which became the model B in 1918 -- one or the other.

Maybe this will help determine the model name = 13 X 13 ¾ at the base, oak, two movable tone-leaves, no needle cups. Has a label on the bottom adding $3.00 for war revenue tax Oct. 9th 1917 increasing the price of the machine from $15.00 to $18.00. (cleaned with Go-Jo and then paste waxed)

I would say a Grafonola 15 then. Also fits with the war time.

Thank you - tiny but plays great and fits on my bookshelf, and the oak wood is fantastic looking after a good Go-Jo cleaning and paste waxing with Howards
