Interesting Edison C-250 option

I am salvaging an Edison C-250 and came across an option I haven't seen before. There is a switch on the brake assembly and wires that go up the horn to the reproducer coller. It must be for some sort of light?
Does anyone have a complete version of this option?

That is the Edison "Electric Automatic Stop".

Thanks for sharing that in depth article. I will have to take a look at the reproducer to see if it has the hole for the wire at the pivot.

Yes, That is for the short lived "Duncan" Automatic stop feature. Very seldom seen, but you can find them if you look hard enough.
