Were Tungstone Needles Sold in the UK Or Europe

In the USA, tungstone needles were marketed and sold. How about the UK, and the rest of Europe? I never saw any advertizing for HMV and others. Does anyone know, or have any advertizing to post?

The Gramophone Company did indeed sell them, but called them "Tungstyle".

In Germany sold by "Electrola" (german branch of HMV) as
Tungstift

It is called a semipermanent needle.

Here are some HMV tins. Soft Tone was also available.
