Horn Identification ?

Hello,

I recently acquired a mache horn and was wondering if this is a "Lineoid" horn?

It also seems to be missing the metal connector end.

The horn is 19.5 x 12.5 inches.

Any thoughts?

It looks very much like a "Linenoid" horn to me, missing its metal end. I can't explain the extra hole. Is there perhaps a faded decal toward the small end with "Linenoid" in script? If faded, it might be easy to miss.

There is no decal with Lineniod but there is the remnants of a round gold coloured decal (⅞ inch round) with no remaining figure or lettering.

This decal had depth like an official seal.
