Just another recorder question

Hello, everybody. After finally *successfully* installing one of Mr. Bruderhofer's magnificent French glass diaphragms, I am reluctant to affix the cutter with shellac. I would stray from the application pressure. Rather, I have simply used beeswax as my glue. Will this work, do you think? Is there a precedent for it?
Mr. Bruderhofer, i you are reading this, I sincerely appreciate these diaphragms.
Mr. Tuberecuds, if you're reading this, I am very much closer now to having those cylinders made for you. Apologies for the delay.
