I would like to throw a very special thanks to forum member Ken Brekke for the outstanding work he did on this horn. And this was done by e-mailing the size. It fits like a glove. Also to Greg Cline for his painting shills. These guys make the hobby fun.

For the record, this is a "Cylo-Phone" cabinet. (Some early ads say "Cyclo-Phone.") "Cylo" pronounced "sillo" as in "cylinder..." :)

Ronnie,
I am glad that this horn worked out for you. They are very time consuming to make but are well worth the effort to complete a rare cabinet like this.

Here it is installed. Now to decide what phonograph to put in it. Edison Home D?

I think the Home Model-D with a good playing Model-O reproducer would be great. The original add shows an Edison Home in the case.

That is what I was thinking Rich. The only O I have is on the mahogany Home and I sure like it there.

There is a steel Model-O on eBay now.

An Edison Home is a bit tight to be able to crank it up. A Standard or Fireside would be much better.

Here is the advertisement for the cabinet and you can see that the machine in it is an Edison Home.

Thanks for posting this ad. I have both of these cabinets. I see that the lower one looks like it has a Triumph in it. That is a very tight fit. I'm sure whatever machine you have to put in them that they will function and perform very well. I am glad that I was able to make a horn to fit Ronnie's cabinet. Credit also has to go to Greg Cline for his remarkable wood graining work.
