Thumbscrew for generic reproducer

I just won this reproducer off of Ebay to graft onto my brother's Silvertone (a small tabletop that has the same tone arm as in the picture rather than the original pot metal one - that's how I know it'll fit), because the Silvertone reproducer does not handle electric records well, and that's all he has. I only need a thumbscrew. Can I steal one off of a broken Ultona, or is it unique? If so, does anybody have a spare?

I'd suggest you find a thumbscrew that works from a more common machine and then order a replacement. If that doesn't work, bring it to Union next year and test out the thumbscrews that Ron Sitko brings. Jerry B.

That's the plan.

I've been sending a small bag of thumb screws around to collectors. If they find one, they send the bag back to me with $10 for whichever thumbscrew then end up using. This sound fair to you? I'm waiting for the bag to arrive next week from its latest trip. -W

I actually was sent a second reproducer by the seller (a welcome surprise), whose thumbscrew fits well. Thank you though!
