VV IX with wheeled cart questions

Hello! Does anyone on here have one of these carts I can go direct with (or public here) with some questions? I think this is the Schloss Brothers of New York cart - called a push cart or tea cart. I can not find any markings on the cart yet. The ad clip below I found on this site in an old thread. I bought this at an antique store. It is paired with a VV IX that needed a motor overhaul and reproducer rebuild. Everything is relatively decent, but name plate needs a little work. Any way to bring back a tired name plate or just live with? I don't plan on doing much with this besides a good cleaning and some fairly heavy play when I get the motor back from servicing. I didn't want to swap the machine out with a mint one since this seems to be an original combo.

The hardware to keep the right cart door closed needs replaced. Repair suggestions? A last owner glued a velcro square onto it. Left door is good.

It was part impulse buy so I am not sure I paid high. I know they call this a school use cart, but for 1915 period I can see these in WWI camp or YMCA halls as well. I have no proof of that - just seams feasible to me...

A nice find. Certainly not something you'd run across every day.

If it were me I would leave that data plate alone, or at most a very gentle cleaning. It isn't bad for a century come and gone.

I have one of these. They are pretty neat. I did have mine for sale in the Yankee Trader section.
Use the search function in the Yankee Trader section and search for Tea Cart. Your looks pretty nice and I would just leave it alone after a good cleaning and polish.

Thank you for the replies! I found the mentioned thread in the trader. Yours is very nice! The handle on yours and in the video is a little different than mine - otherwise very similar. Can I ask how your wheels are attached? Mine are each attached separate and are not connected. Very interesting carts! I like the stenciled design on yours...

Here is the thread for anyone interested:

What part of the door hardware do you need, the little ball and spring bit or the cup that nails in on the bottom of the door?

These early "Pushmobile" cabinet VV-IX models are very scarce. Here is a video of mine (early VV-IX version) from my YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGT4rz5Vq6U. Columbia released a pushmobile model as well.

What year are all of your machines? Mine is 1915. This is the handle:

The hardware I need goes here (top of right door and just inside cabinet):

Bad picture - but the bright spot looks like a thumb tac. Both of these spots were covered up with stick on velcro....

This is how the wheels are attached - curious how this compares to all of yours?

I am not sure of the year of mine but it has the same wheels and mounting as the one in the last post.
