Another fake?! Is this the guy making these? They've been spotted alot in this area. Check out his early "Victrola".

Looks like a Victrola to me... it really wouldn't be worth making a fake of a $240 machine.

Looks like a Walnut case VV-100 that has had the finish messed with and given a new motor board, but is basically authentic.
Walnut is relatively uncommon on these

It certainly started life as a Victrola, but....
The motor and the motor board look like replacements.
Surely it should have a 12 inch turntable not a 10 inch.
The horn has moved from it's original position and now occupies part of the record compartment.

It appear to have an odd motor or turntable, but the machine itself seems to be pretty much a common walnut VV-100.

It may have stated out as a VV-100 carcass, but the horn looks a bit odd as well. Not worth much in my opinion.
(I just noticed this discussion has two threads, what's up with that?)
