Odd Center Start Home Made Record

I found this record in the back of one of my phonographs and I assumed it was a homemade record because there was no label, it had a metal core, and the shellac on top was very thin. Also it was only recorded on one side. I just recently played this record on my Califone (which I only use to test out records, or play Hit of the Week and other thin records because the Califone has a very light tracking weight). I kept starting it like a normal 78 and then it would come back toward me, so I started it at the middle and it turns out thats where the beginning is! It is a song I've never heard, with lyrics like "aye aye imini? aye", "all together and all aboard" and something about "smorgees-board?" I have no clue how to spell these words! Does anyone recognize this song?

It is sung in normal English. I listened to it again and got more lyrics. "I left my friend John Johnson, just the other day, and when I asked what story he (has?), here's what he had to say. (Chorus) Ay Ay Imini Aye.." The rest is hard to understand. But he does mention something about wanting a Swedish fish dish and the word "Smorgasbord" is at the end of every chorus. It is kind of country in nature, sounds like 40's or 50's to me, but I could be wrong.
