C250 and C19 record storage

Apparently the C250 drawers came in two variations, one with wooden partitions aboutv 5" apart and one with red "files?" similar to the C19.
I don't really trust either system since almost all of the DDs I have I bought knowing what they were.
Second copies, yes, but the best, no.
How do guys store your DDs and yes, I know some of you have far too many to just store in the cabinets?
Thanks.
John

Record storage is one of the more frequently discussed topics on the board. I'd suggest you start with a search of the board, then ask any questions you may have after reading some of the many ideas people have written about.

Why didn't I do that? Thanks 52089.

I would think that the C250 "Drawers" storage would be fine. It's the C19 Slats storage that I would be afraid to use as they would most likely damage the DD's in some way or another by today's standards...lol...

I just store my DDs in shelves in Kurt Nauck's superb "Disc-O-File" sleeves. He has a 10 ¼" sleeve size that is a perfect fit. Gives very good protection to the records.
