i found this absolute monstrosity in my franken/crapophone folder one o those ebay pics i just had to catalogue in my photo archive
the totaly molded up columbia with a hunting horn from a french cylinder phonograph totaly f###ed up

Someone please put it out of its misery. It's to sad to look at.

Just call it Steampunk and put it on eBay for $1,000 and some fool will buy it.

What you don't realize is that the machine to the left of it is part of the apparatus... It's an early "speakerphone - only" telephone, the transmitter is the device on the left, and receiver on tbe right. Too bad about the mold though.
