More eBay foolishness

Curious if the ebay seller is holding enough insurance to cover damages that the buyer may suffer.
If you leave a record out in the sun it gets soft and flexible. I would expect that this setup would result in the heat of the bulb affecting the record so that it droops downwards, envelops the bulb and burns down the house? -> is this a possible scenario?
A record fire.....

Seems like everyone from the American Pickers to Flea Market Flip takes any and all useless and ugly stuff and turns it into a lamp for a lot of money. I suspect that was the inspiration here.
I don't live in New York City, but those people seem to have a lot of money to spend on ugly crap.
