Odd horn phonograph

Is this legit? It looks like the last horn phonograph!

It's probably a frankenphone but very interesting. Most of it is a late 20's-early 30's portable with the lid removed and an electric pickup head on the tone arm- so far it's not unusual. What looks like a horn is actually a 1920's radio speaker. What is missing is an amplifier, which would be a radio set- it was quite common to adapt phonographs to play back through radios but I can't see how this one could operate as is. Also it's been over restored, that speaker was probably painted.

Those copper bell radio horns are very common here in the States . . . and fugly!

Ah yes- the Gaumont Chronograph system for early talking films.
