Nice quarter sawn tiger oak cabinet, probably originally a sheet music cabinet, suitable for storing cylinder records and/or displaying a table top cylinder machine. Shelves are not original, they are simply old wall paneling. A hole was drilled in the back, probably for power cords. Remnants of manufacturer's label still on bottom. This appears to be solid oak, not veneered anywhere.

I'm inclined to agree with you that this is a cylinder cabinet, given the shelf pull limit pins near the front of where each of the drawers would have gone.

I am open to trade offers too.
