How would you tell a Victor V from a Victor D if it had no nameplate? Any thoughts on this? Of course, I mean the Victor D that shares the same cabinet as the Victor V.
Thanks,

My Victor D has a slotted crank vs the female screw crank on later models. Also it has fewer teeth/inch on the spring barrel gear than later models, maybe making for a quieter running motor on the later models, but heh, I'm just guessing.

The plain case D has the earlier, usually noisy, motor and the speed control is the small oval type while the V will have the big silver dollar size speed control. Jerry Blais
