Newly Pressed Diamond Discs

I am wondering if newly pressed records could be made by the United Pressing Company down in Tennessee?
I thought about seeing if a stamper could be made and then have them pressed on a thicker vinyl? Would the diamond disc stylus damage it?

The amount of pressure the stylus in a DD reproducer would apply to the disc would surely damage a record of standard "vinylite" composition. Vinyl depends more on it's "give" that it's ability to withstand abrasion. But that would be too much to ask of it. It would wear quickly.
I would think the stylus itself would be fine.

There was a dealer at the Wayne show a few years back who had some Diamond Discs molded of poured resin.
I was told it was a painstaking process. They were lighter, of course, but supposedly could be played with the old reproducer and stylus. I haven't seen newer examples.

Charley Hummel had some DD's reproduced several years ago... they were copies of a rare dealer disc. Seems like Berlin Phonograph Works produced them...

Norman Bruderhofer is close to releasing a Diamond Disc for sale and has announced that in the current issue of the APS magazine.

The weight of an Edison reproducer would slice-up vinyl in no time, I'm sure.

I have one of Charlie's discs, bought this year at the show in Union. It was made by Berlin Phonograph Works in 2012 and is in one of their elaborate Diamond Disc sleeves (which are super nice but really expensive). The title is "Advertising Record for the Edison Disc Phonograph." If I remember, there were not many left at the time I bought mine, so not sure if they are still available. Recorded on one side only. Appears to be some sort of resin and about the same thickness as a period Diamond Disc. There is some surface hiss, but that may be from the original 1912 disc from which it was dubbed.
