Hello,
I am trying to figure out what Edison machine this crank fits??? The short threaded end is not quite 3 inches with the long side being about 4 ½ ". It was gold plated. It has the same threads as an 1-A, 1B, C19, C-250 etc but too short. Also does not fit an Amberola 30, 50 or 75. If anyone knows for sure what machine this fits I would love to know.
Thanks
Pete

Comparing it to what I have I'm nearly certain it's for an Amberola III.

Hi Bob,
Could you double check this for me. I bought an Amberola 1-A from a fellow in New Jersey that was selling a lot of machines. Six months went by before I could pick that machine up. This is the crank that I found inside the machine once I got it home and it is too short! I have since bought a replacement crank from George Vollema.

Hello Pete:
The crank on my Amberola III is a replacement itself. I've attached pictures below of an Amberola I crank (which I know to be correct)and the Amberola III replacement crank. Notice there's a at least a half/inch extra clearance from the escutcheon using this.
It's still a tad too short for use on an Amberola I.
Hope this helps.
Bob

Thank you for all the information. It is beginning to look like what I have is an Amberola III crank!

This looks identical to a crank for an S-19 too.
