The Talking Machine Forum — For All Antique Phonographs & Recordings

Hello,
Over the last year and a half I have been buying machines that I wanted to add to my collection. None of this would have been possible without the help of some of our Forum members. These members either sold me machines, assisted with the sale, hauled machines from Union to New Jersey and in some cases stored them at their homes for almost a year until I could pick them up at the last Wayne show. At the time I only knew these collectors by name and from some of their posts here on the Forum. I have since had the oppourtunity to meet them in person and I can only say that they are all great guys! I would like to now publicly that them for all the assistance they provided. They are Rich Gordon, John Duffy, Kent Schoneman, Brad Abell, Gene Gemering, and Bruce Johnson. here are a few pictures of some of the machines

Congratulations for such a fine collection. I own an A250 and it's a great machine. I especially like the Amberola with the lyre grill. Quite a beauty!

And let's not forget Pete - you too parted with some very nice machines - you held and transported your Edison Amberola 75 to Wayne for me this year and I am very grateful,,, Brian Keith. I too have have bought many machines and parts from fellow collectors on this forum, and actually I prefer to do that because everyone here is honest, loaded with information, and just a great bunch of guys So I totally agree with Pete, and I am very glad he has more room than me to get all these fantastic machines

Wow, Pete - - that's quite a haul for only a year's time! Congratulations - - some really nice machines there; some are among my favorites.

Hi Pete. What a haul you made. It was nice to get to know you. I hope you enjoy the Home Suitcase you bought from me, and I'm glad I was able to transport your machines from Union and store them until the Wayne show. Now it will be interesting to see what the next year will bring.
