Have you tried looking in the
Yankee Trader section...??. It's great place to look and also to let members know your
"wants". Naturally, any of the dealers of parts would be recommended to try....like George V., etc.....

When The order was placed years ago for the cupped center cutters that Rich Goodin and I had made (sometime in 2001), apparently they made thousands of them, we only ordered a hundred. I believe the original hundred are sold out now, but the manufacture made more than they told us, in two styles. The price is significantly higher to get the initial order, from the manufacture. Yes George V sells the Expert cutter, which works, but you must align it right to get it to work. The ones we had made were a tenth of an inch long, so you could handle them, you could then break off some of the tale when making the holder for them. Other than that you will have to purchase a whole original recorder to get a good cutter. I remember when the recorders were $25.00 each (the whole original unit) when I was little. Now they go from 100-200.00 each. From how many blanks I have sold and made there is an increased interest in recording cylinders.
