DD reproducer rebuild question

I have a spare Edison DD reproducer that has a bad stylus - the metal is clean and bright and near perfect but I don't know if it is worth a rebuild because it needs a new stylus. Any thoughts or suggestions? I thought I would have it rebuilt just in case I come across a machine missing the reproducer.

It's definitely worth a rebuild, and on original reproducers the stylus almost always needs replacing.

And I'd send it to Steven Medved for rebuild. NFI on my part, just a very satisfied customer.
