When did Edison switch from the all blue Amberola boxes to the orange ones? What year and which catalog number did this change?

From Dethlefson's book:
"1917: New record boxes introduced; orange with blue lettering for the popular series and blue-grey with white lettering for the Concert series. The box top label is simplified and larger lettering is used."
Judging from the BA release dates, the first new releases with the orange boxes would have been somewhere in the 3000 - 3100 area: of course re-pressings of older selections would have used the new boxes as well.

Not to be a nit-picker, but the records are "Amberols." The machines are "Amberolas."
