Can any collector provide me with the record number for the Columbia brown wax cylinder, " Parody-One Night In June by Mr. William F. Denny, for the Columbia Phonograph Company of New York and Paris".

Will appreciate any assistance. Could not locate on the Kastlemusick listing or other "usual" sources. Perhaps one of the blanks in the Denny listing in the Kastlemusick catalog?

Many thanks. Larry

Hi Larry,

I found this listing on 78discography.com for Columbia 6000 $ 7000 series cylinders. It lists this title as #7003. It does not agree with my copy of Kastlemusick's Discography of Two-Minute Brown Wax cylinders by Kenneth M. Loren. But here is the link.

Thanks for replies. Yes tried Santa Barbara and yes, Rich, I saw the same listing number with another artist. My only thought is that there were some revisions in the Catalog around that time and as some other collectors have mentioned, record companies sometimes did not keep accurate "records" on occasion. Maybe that is the case. Anyway will keep looking. Thanks again,Larry

Larry, the listing on 78discography.com is performed by William F. Denny. The other person Ed Harris is the person who wrote the song.
