A couple months ago I got my Edison Dance Reproducer rebuilt by Steve Medved but I've got no dance records
I'm looking for any fox trots or popular songs from the mid to late 20s on Diamond Disc. I'd like the records to have no chips, scratches or gouges since all my Reproducers have new Bruce diamonds on them but worn records with edge chips would be fine. I'm also looking for ANY electric diamond discs as I currently own none and I've heard they sound quite nice. Thank you

You may already be aware of this but in case not, be careful of those dance reproducers. They are a bit finicky. The larger, heavier limit pin has a lot less freedom of movement. To play properly the horn needs to be lowered an extra 16th of an inch or so or something extra, (an extra new turntable felt works great)needs to be put under the record to raise it up.
Also very slightly warped records can cause the limit pin to hit against the reproducer shell as it rotates or towards the beginning and end of the record causing damage to your stylus and/or the record. A pressing stamped slightly out of round can cause the limit pin to hit the loop once every revolution causing skipping or similar damage as described above.
The standard reproducer is much more tolerant of slightly defective records.

I check Ebay daily for diamond disks and there are lots of them for sale. The prices are all over the place and the foxtrots are few and far between. Electric DD much more so. Love to have one myself.
