I say Junko-phone. Looks like a radiohorn has been forced on, The box seems in line with any european brand say Parlophone or Lindström but you missed it! For only 375 was it! wow! :o :D

Definitively European Junk :D Even the horn is...

The elbow is from an old radio speaker, the remains (sorry to ask, whats the name in english?) from a Gramophone or even a Crapophone.

Here you see the contour of Richard Wagner! Maybe to simulate some "Teutonic" look...? Seems to be brushed for a "aged" look.

As far as I remember, there had been a "Richard Wagner" Gramophone by some Company in the "Wagner Year" 1913 - but not this thing...

So obviously the horn is rubbish.

Odeon - the hole where you put ? was for the release button for the lid catch

Snallast - Very good, parlophone

Edisone - The base was real +/- Wagner

Odeon - 1913 spot on

This form was not in the 1909 nor the 1918 catalog, but was in the 1913 catalog as the model E26 in Oak, and E28 as Mahogany. Design is a throwback to one of the first Parlophones from 1905/6 called the Senator - which was qualitatively way better with piano finish and string marquetry inlay, and size wise larger.

How the Wagner ornament got there - probably as Odeon said an attachment for the Wagner anniversary. Perhaps an optional extra?
