Here is a very clean and well cared for green oak 1901 Edison Standard 2 minute cylinder phonograph. The machine has been fully serviced and functions properly. Motor has been cleaned and lubricated, main spring has been removed cleaned and regreased, new leather drive belt no slippage. The case finish is original and the banner is original. The lid is it's original however the lid was sanded bare when I purchased the machine and it has been finished with green powder dye and amber shellac to a very good match. The top plate is very clean with very well preserved original pin stripe and corner decoration and is equipped with a language repeater. Mandrel is bright and shiny no rust. The rear of the case along one bottom corner has a missing bit of molding at base(see pic). The case had a very nice condition cygnet bracket installed when I bought it and is included in the sale. The reproducer is an Edison Model B and it has been rebuilt with new gaskets, new copper diaphragm, and new 2 min sapphire stylus. The original stepped mica diaphragm will be included in the sale and is in good condition and can be used if preferred. The horn is a 14 inch black with brass bell well made reproduction. This machine is ready to be used. Serial# S 48116. Pick up at my home is preferred however I can box and ship to location in the United States no international shipping. Shipping would be extra cost to buyer.
