Identify this Victrola

I was asked to check out a Victrola for a guy to repair, these are photos that he sent me.
Has anyone seen anything like this? A Victrola VV-VI in a upright cabinet? Unless this is a pooley cabinet with the VV-VI inside?

It doesn't appear to be a Victor cabinet. Is is one of the cabinets made to house a Victrola VI? I can't see far enough into the mechanism area to tell. I don't believe Victor ever installed ID tags on the inside of the lid plus there is no Victor decal. Jerry B.

Jerry's right - it's not a Victor cabinet. The question is whether it's a one-off craftsman job or if a small company was making them. The slats in the horn opening were protected by a patent, so if an outside firm made it, they would have been inviting legal action.
I'm betting this was made by a cabinet maker, since it appears the original VV-VI cabinet was discarded and the data plate nailed to the lid. There was no reason to go to all that work, as demonstrated by the Lundstrom "Converto" Cabinet shown in another thread.
