On Ebay Victor VE-9-55E

What a nice looking machine---of course on the west coast and I'm on the east coast. Ebay # 191755739494 and with a starting bid of $400. Lucky person who gets this one.

Certainly what was done significantly reduces its value. At least it's not one of those complete gut jobs. I wonder if the original interior partitions, etc., were damaged so much in replacing the works that it could not be restored with the proper parts (assuming you could find them).

It looks like someone put a c.1940 radio in it.That is NOT a 1927!! :x edisonplayer

Looks like two machines got butchered, the 9-55, and the floor model radio that was cut-down and inserted into the Victor cabinet.
