Did anyone here get this machine? It was not working, same problem they all have. This one is mahogany which makes it more interesting. I bid 2000.00 and the next increment was 2250.00, which someone bid. The next bid would have been 2500.00. With 13% buyers premium, and shipping, I let it go.

This has got to be on of the more truly rare phonographs out there. I'm surprised it didn't at least go for the price of an Edison Opera. Even with defects, which can be solved, this machine should command a higher price I'd think. Its probably so uncommon that its hard for people to know what to pay for it. I only know of two or three others.

Ive been in contact with a gentleman to purchase his US Phonograph but haven't closed the deal yet. He is none of the listed people. Will post more when I have made the purchase.
