What is this machine named? Columtor or Victorbia?
This thing is 20 minutes from me think I'll go get it, be something to practice stuff on...

Not a merger, just a marriage.

Ah, but is it a romantic union, an arranged marriage, or a marriage of convenience?

This reminds me of a frankenphone I saw in an antique store when I was visiting a friend in Maryland. There was this Grafonola with a Victor tone arm and reproducer, it was $300. Definitely overpriced.

Yep: probably had a broken potmetal arm, and they couldn't find a proper replacement...

Shouldn't be too hard to find a proper Columbia tone arm and reproducer for it, but I wouldn't pay any more than the $100 starting price for it given that it needs to be put right.

Columbia "Jewel" / "35".
Takes the brass tapering arm and elbow with two limit-screws, #6 Columbia reproducer.
Wonder how the tracking geometry is with the Victor arm and reproducer ?
